Born and raised in one of the most dynamic cities in southeast Asia, Banh Mi and Roll+ founders Huy and Han bring the best of delicious Saigonese food and culture to Nashville. Huy and Han came to the U.S. as foreign students and chose Music City as their home in 2003. With more than 10 years’ experience in food & beverage, they also operate Far East Nashville, Love Peace & Pho, and the Banh Mi & Roll Factory Food Truck. They frequently travel to Asia, with their 5-year old daughter, Alex, to continue to stay updated on cuisine trends to inspire new recipes. Banh Mi & Roll Factory was introduced to Music City as a cultural gift, which focused on serving the best Vietnamese street fares with a welcoming hospitality mindset. The big yellow box truck is Music City’s first and original Vietnamese food truck that one can easily spot at large events such as Live on The Green, Nashville Scene’s Movies in The Park, Tomato Art Fest, CMA Festival, The Pilgrimage Music & Culture Festival, and other local or private events around Nashville.

FROM SAIGON

TO NASHVILLE

ALWAYS DELICIOUS

GET THE BEST

After 5 years of fun, Huy and Han are proud to finally welcome the food truck’s first brick and mortar location, Banh Mi and Roll+, in Hillsboro Village, conveniently located near Vanderbilt and Music Row. Banh Mi and Roll+ continues to serve local favorites including banh mi, fresh roll, and vermicelli noodle bowls, PLUS a new line of quality 100% powder-free milk teas (hence the +). This new line is brought to Banh Mi and Roll+ by our co-owner, Mai Lai, who is a former journalist from Washington D.C. and also an absolute quality food enthusiast. During her professional years based in Asia, she traveled the regions of Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong to search for the best milk tea concept and developed extensive knowledge about this trendy drink. She finally came up with a unique milk tea recipe with FRESH. NATURAL. HOMEMADE ingredients. Our teas are handpicked and imported from Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Our delicious milk teas are 100% powder-free and prepared fresh daily with the finest loose-leaf tea, natural house-made syrup and toppings. An intimate setting with approximately 40 seats, Banh Mi and Roll+ offers a casual atmosphere and also serves cocktails, wine, beer on tap, and more, from the full bar.
